PARENT LETTER FOR 7th GRADE
I found that the parents often felt a little hesitant about the transition between the 5th and 6th grade building to the Junior/Senior High school. To help with this transistion, I used this letter to help parents and to help the 7th grade teachers learn a little more about their students. It really helped with the transition. EUROPEAN COUNTRY MUSEUM
Students picked from a list of European countries and researched the country. For the final project, they created a item that represented the country. Parents and elementary students came and walked through the musem. Students had to share their project with the visitors.

CIVIL WAR PROJECT (In conjunction with English Class)
Students working in groups created a newspaper that took place during the same time as the event they were assigned. The event was something we had studied during our time on the Civil War. The students were required to create an artifact relating to the event they covered. This was presented to parents and elementary students at the end of the project.
