Welcome! Thank you for visiting my School Counseling Portfolio. After working in a public school for four years as a para and teacher, I decided to return to Kansas State University to earn my Master's in School Counseling. After graduating in May of 2016, my husband and I moved to the North Texas area. Currently, I am teaching AP English Literature and Pre-AP English I at Independence High School in Frisco, TX.
Throughout this portfolio, one will find a collection of artifacts documenting the my time at Kansas State University in the school counseling program. Examples of these documents include: my philosophy of counseling, various examples of lessons and sessions, examples of my counseling in practice, as well as a variety of helpful information related to school counseling.
Additionally, a collection of artifacts from my time as a middle school social studies teacher and a high school English teacher are made available for viewing.
